# Executive Director Message – October 2022

From our archive

This post was published on October 26, 2022. Names, roles, and details may have changed since then.

Greetings,

Upon my 4th week at the Arcata Chamber of Commerce and the Arcata Humboldt Welcome Center, I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to the chamber members and community leaders, and my greatest appreciation to join this exceptional Chamber and community. One of my first goals was to get to know the members better, so if I haven’t already met you at the mixer, or in various emails or phone calls, let’s connect soon so that I can hear about your business or organization. My second goal was to reopen the Welcome Center for a full week’s schedule, to renovate the space a bit, and to provide visitors with a great experience when they come through our doors. If you haven’t seen the changes, I invite you to visit our welcome center or make an appointment to see the possibilities as a meeting space. Speaking of changes…

Have you seen our new website as of late? The staff has been hard at work redesigning it to provide members with a better experience.

You can now login into your “Member Information Center” to update your contact information, add a credit or debit card so you don’t miss your annual membership dues, and register for any new events or future programs.

I also would like to recognize and welcome the new Arcata Main Street Executive Director Brandey Wheeler, She/Her. I look forward to collaborating together as we move our community forward.

The chamber is here to be of service, we sincerely appreciate your membership. You can email: Arcata@ArcataChamber.com or call 707.822.3619 and we would be happy to assist you.

To be of service,

Anisa Escobedo (She, Her, Ella)
