College of the Redwoods welcomes career insight and involvement from Arcata Chamber members.

## Bring real-world careers into the classroom

College of the Redwoods teachers understand the importance of bringing the real world of careers into their classrooms. If you have career expertise and experience you’re willing to share, CR welcomes Arcata Chamber members to get involved in support of students and faculty.

### Ways to get involved

-   Join a career speaker panel in a classroom
-   Host a student job shadow
-   Work with the CR Career Center to bring qualified student candidates to your business as interns
-   Share your business expertise as a member of a career-specific industry advisory group

Whatever your background and expertise, connecting students with community members who can offer real-world insight and experience helps them better prepare for future job and career success.
