# Season of Wonder & Light

For decades the Chamber has lit up the Arcata Plaza each holiday season. In 2026 the tradition grows into a nearly four-month Season of Wonder & Light.

## A beloved tradition, now a whole season

For decades, the Arcata Chamber of Commerce has proudly illuminated the Arcata Plaza each holiday season, creating a welcoming gathering place that brings our community together and encourages residents and visitors to shop, dine, and celebrate locally.

Beginning in October, orange and purple lights transform the Plaza into a festive celebration of the spooky season before transitioning into the classic twinkling holiday display that has become a cherished part of Arcata’s winter tradition. The lights continue through mid-January.
