# Young Professionals Network

Mixers crafted for young professionals in our community to swap ideas, advance professionally, and build lasting connections.

## About the network

In the fall of 2023, the Arcata Chamber of Commerce held its first Young Professionals Mixer.

These events give young professionals in our community the chance to swap ideas, advance professionally, establish lasting connections, and explore shared interests while gaining an insider’s perspective on the local business landscape.

We plan to host these mixers quarterly. We hope people who join the Young Professionals Mixers will find them engaging and feel enthusiastic and at ease attending our monthly [First Thursday Mixers](https://arcatachamber.com/events/mixers/), too.
