Arcata Friday Night Market

A vibrant celebration of local culture on the Arcata Plaza, with live music, delicious food and drink, artisan vendors, and fun for all ages.

Thanks for a wonderful second season

In 2025 we launched the first-ever Arcata Friday Night Market, and it was so wonderful. The community loved it, Cal Poly Humboldt students were excited, and local businesses reported excellent sales. So we came back for a second season in 2026!

The 2026 market ran four Fridays, August 21 and 28 and September 4 and 11, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm on the Arcata Plaza. The first market ran until 10 pm with some extra special wonder and Humboldt flair.

Who’s behind it

Designed to welcome new Cal Poly Humboldt students and bring the community together, the market is a partnership between Humboldt Made, the Arcata Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Arcata. Come for the vibes, stay for the connection.

Vending

Vendor applications for the 2026 season were handled through Eventeny, with separate applications for week one and for weeks two through four.
